They are tightly controlled by a mysterious Council and a strong-willed local Sheriff but lately there have been murders, people have disappeared, illegal drugs are being produced, and cannibals are rumored to live in the dense forest surrounding the town. Casey investigates through a mass of twists and turns. Book one in a series of three. Great characters. Looking forward to the next one!
