Audra Ellison has her memory wiped clean and tries to start a new life in rural Maine, until her old life rises up and insists on destroying her. It seems she is a descendant of Eliabeth Bathory, the Blood Queen, and she is being hunted by paranormal secret societies. She escapes to Eastern Europe, and succeeds in finding some old friends, but soon they are in terrible danger too. The only way Audra can hope to protect them all is to uncover some ancient documents and long hidden family secrets. This is a fast paced tale with wonderful characters and plenty of twists and turns. Looking forward to reading Book 2!
