Kyra Winthrop, age 34, is injured in a diving accident and suffers from a complex form of memory loss. So, her super-attentive husband, Jacob, takes her to live on a remote Pacific Northwest Island, claiming it will help her recovery. But as flashes of Kyra's memory start to return, she realizes that her idealic life is actually an elaborate and dangerous hoax.
This is a well-written, psychological thriller that kept me turning pages. I also enjoyed the island descriptions because I visited Friday Harbor two years ago. Recommended Goodread!
